Otago Museum visit

We were fortunate to have a visit from Otago Museum this term to bring us some exhibits.

We were fortunate to have a visit from Otago Museum this term to bring us some exhibits that our students are unlikely to see without visiting science facilities in major cities. 

The theme of the visit was light, and the presenters, Claire, Sam and Andreo put together some wonderful displays relating to lasers, spectroscopy, sun block and ultra-violet light, infra-red, rainbows and mixing light. 

Our years 7-9 enjoyed the activities and gave it a good shot at answering some of the searching questions posed.
