Gateway and STAR students are doing well!

Gateway is a subject where students get the opportunity to gain work experience in a specific career path of their choice.

To prepare these students for work experience they need to complete some Health and Safety training and a First Aid course.

During term 1 our Gateway students did the following courses:

Essentials in Health & Safety, Height Safety, Hearing Conservation & Manual Handling and Comprehensive First Aid.

This term Westland High School has also offered our year 13 students the opportunity to complete a First Aid course to prepare them for the future.

All these students have done us proud and did really well in these courses.
