STEM at Arahura marae

Canterbury University ran a STEM workshop at Arahura marae for students, whanau and the community.

On the 20th June our Rangatahi were invited to a STEM evening run by Canterbury University at Arahura Marae. It was a wonderful event including a mihi whakatau with our French students singing the waiata, afternoon tea, STEM activities, and lastly dinner for all participants. 

Thank you to DWC for providing a free bus to help the students get out there and to Ngati Waewae for hosting the event. This event was not only for our students but also whanau, and the community interested in finding out more about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) study and career options.
