The Development West Coast Rangatahi Day Out

Our students along with others from all over the Coast had an inspiring day exploring nature based career opportunities at Wadeson island

The Rangatahi Day Out, hosted by DWC Education to Employment West Coast, brought together students from Westland High School Hokitika, South Westland Area School, Papa Taiao - West Coast, and John Paul II High School, Greymouth.The students took part in hands-on workshops led by Department of Conservation, West Coast NZ Landcare Trust, Conservation Volunteers New Zealand, Predator Free Te Kinga, Kamahi Planning & Developments Ltd, SK Kawhaka Ltd., and the West Coast Regional Council.Thank you to everyone who enabled this experience and contributed to making it an amazing day!
