Year 13 courses at Westland High School

All learners will be working toward completing their NCEA Level 3 qualification.
In Year 13 students are expected to select 5 subjects.
Trades is also open to Year 13 students both for continuing and first time students. Students focusing on a vocational pathway may choose to take Gateway as one of their five subjects.
Students pursuing a university pathway must ensure that they choose university approved subjects. To achieve university entrance students need to gain at least 14 credits in three university approved subjects. Teachers of university approved subjects will provide more information.

Note: Places in Trades courses are limited so early enrolment is recommended. Mrs Reeves is the Trades co-ordinator.
