Coast to Coast WHS Wahine

The WHS Wahine took out 3rd place in the Coast to Coast Female School’s section! The team have written about their experience.
The 2025 Coast to Coast was a big goal of ours which we put a lot of time, training and fundraising into in the many months before. Going into the race, our goal was simply to complete the course as it is such an iconic and challenging event, but our efforts certainly paid off and we were stoked to come away with 3rd place in the female school category.
We owe a huge thanks to our sponsor West Coast Physio, as well as our raffle prize donors Cycle Journeys, Mel Crossman and the 2024 Runanga Tauira. We’d also like to thank our support crew as we wouldn’t have crossed the finish line without your help and support.
Congratulations to our fellow school team as well as Individuals from South Westland Area School and Court who we spent some training time with to support each other.
As a team we hope to have inspired young people to push their limits and set goals, as it is empowering and very much achievable if you put your mind to it!
