A visit from a Master Weaver

Karl Leonard a master weaver recently came to Westland High School.

Last week Master Weaver Karl Leonard came to Westland High School to present the Kapa Haka Roopu with their long awaited piupiu to go with their kākahu for performing. 

The piupiu are hand crafted and took over a year to complete. We were very lucky to hear all about the process of making the piupiu in person.
