Canterbury Primary School Cross country

Several of our top Primary School athletes competed in the Canterbury Primary Schools Cross Country on Wednesday 23rd June.

The team inclusive of, Ruby Martin, Charlie Marcotte, Ainhoa Alkorta, Nate Crossman and Tamsin Gillespie, recently competed at the Canterbury school cross country champs in June. 

We had some outstanding results and would like to make special mention of Tamsin Gillespie who placed 12th from 184 starters and Ainhoa Alkorta who placed 22nd from 184 starters. 

Well done to all of the runners for representing Westland High. Keep a look out for these names in the future. They're fast.
