Looking after our community gardens

Te Whare Atawahi have recently become caretakers of our local community garden at Lazar park.

Te Whare Atawhai have recently taken on the task of caretaking at Lazar Park Community Gardens. Thanks to the amazing staff and students that showed up to support their first working bee, and a shout out to Phil Agnew and Jason Johnson for the muscle and for helping haul things away. 

If any community members are interested in helping with weeding and maintenance over the summer months, please get in touch with Amy Cunningham at Westland High School! We'd love this garden to be widely used and enjoyed by the community
