Netball A bring back the cup!

Well done to the Westland High School A netball team who won the Flora Beynon trophy this week.

By all accounts it was a great day in Great day in Westport this week, where Buller were hosting the Flora Beynon Netball tournament. 

Westland High School A Netball team - played 4 games winning against Buller (23 -19), Grey High School (29 -10), John Paul II (34 -17), South Westland Area School (33 -12) which secured them the Flora Beynon Trophy. Angela Keenan, Coach said "good teamwork on attack with good vision down court allowed the outside C and WA to feed their shooting duo in our goal circle plus determined defense with tips and intercept turnovers impressed throughput the games."
