Outdoor Education on the Ahaura river

The Level 1 Outdoor Education class had a great time last week on their first overnight trip for the year.

Kayaks put to bed, camp set and the team was ready for a huge day down the Ahaura river the following day. 

The focus and assessment, for the Level 1 Outdoor Education class, was taking action to have a positive impact on the group and kayaking skills. 

After 6.5 hours of constant paddling the kids all stepped up and finished with smiles, excitement and a strong group bond.
