Students excel in kick boxing

Two of our students Rishjarn Hereaka and Robbie Weston recently took part in Muay Thai Novice Interclub Kick boxing competition in Canterbury.

Robbie Weston and Rishjarn Hereaka, were recently in Christchurch to compete in the Muay Thai Novice Interclub competition hosted by MSA Sitnarong NZ Christchurch. 

They were also very lucky to visit a Thai Buddhist temple beforehand and received a blessing from the Thai monks. 

Both boys did extremely well and their club (Hokitika Boxing club) was incredibly proud of their efforts. 

It's so great to see students achieving in a wide range of sports. Congratulations boys we are very proud of you, you're shining examples of our school value Rangatiratanga. We look forward to hearing more of your achievements in the arena of kickboxing.
