Year 13 Outdoor Education – out there doing it!

The Year 13's have been out in the hills in the last couple of weeks, for their tramping assessment.

The Year 13 Outdoor Education class ventured out last week on the Paparoa Great Walk. We are so lucky to have such an amazing network of backcountry huts and tracks in beautiful Aotearoa. 

The infrastructure and comfort of The Great Walks is next level! We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing our country's newest Great Walk that is also in our backyard. 

We decided on walking the route from Punakaiki to Blackball. Finishing with the Mt Watson route as an additional challenge on the last day. 

We ate family meals - including 'wood-fired' pizza night, enjoyed spectacular views and worked well together to complete this trip in style and comfort.

The Yr13 Outdoor Ed class
