Year 9 and 10 West Coast Netball tournament

On Tuesday 24th June the WHS Year 9/10 Netball Team competed in the West Coast Secondary Schools Year 9/10 Tournament at the DWC Westland Sportshub.

Teams came from South Westland Area School, Buller High School, Greymouth High School and John Paul II High School.

The WHS team consisted of Merryn Jellie, India Keenan, Jorja Kyle, Ani Mason, Shadow O'Rourke, Clare Peters, Sienna Rasmussen, Jordan Scadden, Jessie Smith and Arnika Wilson-Rae. Captain, India Keenan showed herself to be a competent captain and shooter throughout the game and Westland High School came in at second place.

Results were: 1st - Greymouth High School, 2nd - Westland High School, 3rd - John Paul II High School, 4th - Buller High School, 5th - South Westland Area School B, 6th - South Westland Area School A.
